We are Human Movement Specialists 

Since 1997 we have used a combination of extensive education and experience, evidence-based research, and the most widely recognized certifications, to develop programs based on individual needs and attributesWe are not a gym, but a multi-use facility that offers a number of programs to include personal fitness and self-defense.  We believe anyone who wants to improve the quality of his or her life can.  Whether you are a personal training client, a corrective exercise or weight management client, a martial arts or self defense student, we are here to help you get the results you want.

We have become students of our profession.

As technology allows insights into Human Movement as never before, an education is essential.  Unfortunately, there is a disparity in the amount of training a “Trainer” needs.  Some fitness programs and martial arts systems require that their “Coaches” receive nothing more than a weekend of training.  Most of these certificate factories disseminate half-truths that are not only untested, but also potentially dangerous. 

Human Movement is a complicated and coordinated effort between your muscles, skeleton, and metabolism, and everyone is different. Knowing how each of the systems of the body work, independently and in concert, is essential in the development of an effective training program. That is why we continue to learn; so that you will get the results you want in a safe and progressive environment.
